My experience (conclusion)

Hello to everyone, today I culminate with this beautiful experience that I was telling you my point of view about the follows themes: happiness, death, war, religion, marriage, media, a celebrity, movies, education, and the world. The theme I liked was happiness, I love be happy! I liked this idea of writing about certain themes because I could expand my knowledge of this topics. In another way, I could further develop the ability to write, read and speak English. Something that is a bit challenging for me, because I do not have all the time the chance to speak or write English. I am very gratefull to the professor because she was teaching us the semester how to develop our talk, write and read English. I can say that now I dare to have a conversation a little further than usual with someone, but I know that I still have much to learn. Thank professor for making the best of me. Finally, like I wrote on the introduction of the blog I hope that you enjoyed reading my publications.

Pollution in our world

Pollution on our planet is taking the lives of many species. This increasing every day on planet Earth, we humans still the major cause. There exist different ways in which we pollute our planet. One of these is the use of chemicals, smoke of factories make, fellings trees to build houses, the use of motor vehicles, burning garbage, and throwing toxics wastes into rivers and seas. Garbage, pollution and destruction of the ozone layer and factors which destroy our environment. All this pollution is causing global warming that is do that the glaciers are melted, having large changes in climate. Another way to see that there is pollution in our environment is the production of rare storms, hurricanes an other weather events outside of time.

In this link, http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-34892237, you can find an article about a toxic mud spill into a river in Brazil. Where people had died and others had disappeared (presumed dead). This is unfortunate, spill was possible without intent to harm, but we are causing a great damage to our planet, to our marine and terrestrial life. Finally, to help our planet to continue havind no more pollution we should stop cutting trees, reduce the use of chemicals, creating more hybrids cars, avoid contaminating the seas and rivers, because they give us water for survival, recycle and other ways that we understand can help to conserve our beautiful planet. KEEP our planet GREEN.

Education

Education is training aimed at developing the intellectual, moral and emotional capacity of the people according to the culture and standards of living of the society to which they belong. Not only occurs through the word, since it is present in all our actions, feelings and attitudes. Generally, education is conducted under the direction of teachers (professor), but students can also educate themselves in a process called self-learning. Any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels or acts can be considered educational. Education is commonly and formally divided into stages, such as preschool, elementary school, high school and then college, university or magistrate. The teaching is called pedagogy. There exits three types of education: informal, non-formal and formal.

First, an informal education it is one that is fundamentally received in the social enviroment, because education is progressively acquired throughout life, it is given without any educational intent. Second, the non-formal education refers to courses, academies and institutions, which are not governed by a particular course of study, these are intended educate but not recognized through certificates. Finally, formal education refers to the areas of schools, colleges, universities, modules where participation by recognized educational certificates. My opinion is that an educated person is able to face life properly. If we are not educated we will be people who do not understand anything that happens around us, we will not know what are the values, for example respect and be kind.

Movies

A film is a cinematic masterpiece, which tells a story or fact. Initially, the way in which the image was projected was through a sequence of images, which were projected without sound, today we known this as silent movies. But that years later gave way to talkies, which meant a contribution of paramount importance to the film industry. Usually a film based on a script in which characters may or may not be played by actors. In films there are different genres, among which are: action, animation, Science fiction, comedy, drama, romance and terror. For me the best movies are the comedy and action.

I'm not very fond of movies, because I do not like monotony. I say that movies are monotonous , because most of the time they show the same situations. If I were asked what kind of genre films I like, I will say they are action films and comedy. My favorite action movies are 007 and Mission Impossible. These films capture my attention because at all times I'm with the expectation of what will happen in the next scence. The other movies that I like are the comedy. In this case some of the many comedy movies I like are Norbit, Click, and Big momma. I like comedy because I am a person that love to laugh and lot, and they movies make me happy.

 

A celebrity: Victor Manuel

Víctor Manuel Ruiz Velázquez was born in New York, United States on September 27, 1968, and has Puerto Rican parents. Better known as Víctor Manuelle or as El Sonero de la juventud (The Singer of Youths). Although he was born in New York, he is a Puerto Rican salsa singer and sings romantic ballads too. His career as an artist began in 1985 when Gilberto Santa Rosa (another salsa singer) discovered his talent, from that moment Víctor began his career. He has sang with other artists such as Domingo Quiñones, Rey Ruíz, Puerto Rican Power, Eddie Santiago, The Puerto Rican All Starts, Cheo, Tito Allen, and others. Víctor Manuelle has recorded more than 19 albums, in 1999 he won an award of Joven Salsero del Año. The latest album was in 2015 titled Que suenen los tambores. In this production there was a song dedicated to his father titled Algo le pasa a mi héroe (Something is wrong with my hero).

Victor Manuelle at the end of the video of the song Algo le pasa a mi héroe (Somenthing is wrong with my hero), dedicated that song to his father, also named Víctor, suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Víctor started a project called "Ellos olvidan, no lo hagas tú" (They forget, do not do it), because of the disease his father was suffering. This project aims to guide and raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease. Víctor Manuelle dedicated his project to two very important people in his life. This two people were the ones who had dedicated with patience and all the love in the world to give to his father a decent life, full of love and joy. The first person is his brother Héctor, who said that "Who honors their father obeys God", this is what Héctor is doing, and the second person is the Mother of Víctor and Héctor named Jenny. Víctor says she promised before God that she would love and care for Victor's father in good and bad times, and that they have always done. Culminates,Víctor saying to his mother you are our example, I love you!

In this link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfZ0B9mki9M, you can listen to the song Algo le pasa a mi héroe. The song is in Spanish, but talks about the situation that is happening with Víctor's father. Víctor Manuelle describes in his song that his father have a blank gaze, he does not repeat the stories that he told, he do not longer remember the names of his family and therefore he cannot pronounce it, he no longer looks alike physically or mentally, and he mention in the song that his father was his example, his guidance and that he has become as a child. This and more mentions Víctor, in his song. It make us to understand what happens to a person with Alzheimer's disease from the beginnig to its deterioration.

I chose to talk about Víctor Manuelle to discuss the situation his father is confronting and because I like the way how Víctor behaves. Is a humble, and simple artist, not looking for scandals, all these qualities have led him to be where he is musically. When I heard the song I shed some tears because I remembered my grandmother who died of various diseases, one of them, Alzheimer. I began to remember when she told me stories that had happened some time ago, when she confused her daughter with the lady who cleaned and cooked, it was the same person, but my grandmother could not distinguish due to Alzheimer's. My aunts took care of her until her death and I know it is not easy for anyone caring for someone with Alzheimer's because the get aggresive. We have to be aware at all times, but the worst part is knowing that they will not be able to recognize you. I remember my grandmother as the best of all with her beautiful smile. When I was seeking Víctor Manuelle's song and heard it, I never thought it would bring me many feelings. We need to take care of our family, considering, they did the same for us.

Advantages and disadvantages of social networks.

Social networks are websites that allow people to connect with their friends, meet people, and even make some new friends. Furthermore, it enable people share content, to interact, create communities of similiar interests: work, readings, games, friendship, relationships, relationships commercial, and others. The origins of social networks began in 1995, when the american Randy Conrads created the Web site "classmates.com". With this network site, Conrads wanted people be able to regain or maintain contact with former classmates, college, and university. In 2002, came out the first Web sites promoting online circles of friends or relations in virtual communities. These sites grew rapidly and were refined to form the space of social networking sites. Social networks continue growing and gaining popularity. Teengers and young adults, usually college students and professional adults with Internet access, are mostly the users of this social networks.

We know, social networks have its advantages and disadvantages. Some advantages of social networks are that it help people to keep in touch with their relatives and friends from a distance in a very convenient manner, it is a good way to promote products and services, it help charitable works or charities to deliver their needs to help other people, it allow people to finda job (maybe locally and abroad), and are a perfect way to look for partners, dates or people can even utilize it on looking for lost pets and relatives. Nevertheless, disadvantages of networks are that it can take a lot of our time and can hold us back engaging in other important activities such as family bonding, our privacy is in big jeopardy because of social media. Social networks can be used to promote crime and it is a perfect venue for act of bullying. The scope of advantages and disadvantages of social networking is actually vast.

 

Despite we have a lot to gain by using social networks it also make people to lose personal contact; lose friends, family, time for studies, and another things. We must stop using some social networks to return to have time with our families and others. So much have been lost because of beign too much time using social networks. We have to use this source consciously and without harming others.

Marriage

A marriage is a union between a man and a woman which is generated through certain rites or legal formalities. At marriage, the spouses acquire various rights and obligations. There are two types of marriage, the civil and the religious. The civil marriage is a legal act by which the parties form a legal interpersonal relationship held with the requirements and formalities prescribed in the Family Code and this marriage is embodied in front of a competent state authority. Nevertheless the religious marriage is a union held in subjection to religious rules to be indissoluble high quality sacrament until death and which legitimizes the union in the eyes of God. Marriage's pourpose is the procreation, the parenting, to assist each other all their needs (physical and/or emotional), and the mutual comprehension, cooperation and company.

Be married is more than a compromise, is when two persons share what they are the rest of their life, and make a family. A good or stable marriage has to be based on honesty, trust, similar interests, space, closeness, intimity, maturity, openess, adventure, laughing, and even have a financial stability. These things have to be in a marriage, if not, propably it will not last to long. Something I have learned from other marriage couples, is that, the word "divorce" can not be in the relationship. If the word exist between them, no matter what happen in the matrimony, even a insignificant problem, it can mean the ending of that relationship. No matter what happens, a marriage have surpass all the difficulties, only this way it will stay stronger and will have a long "happy ever after''.

Christianity

Welcome! Today I will talk to you about religion. I know that many religions exist in the world, but today I will focus in Christianity. First allow me tell you what is a religion. Set of beliefs or doctrines about divinity, feelings of reverence and fear of it, moral standards for individual, social conduct, ritual practices and particularly prayer and sacrifice to worship. Christianity is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion based on the life and teachings attributed to Jesus of Nazareth, presented in the biblical canon, which includes both the Old and New Testament. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Messiah prophesied in the Old Testament, which died fot the redemption of the sins of mankind, and resurrected three days after his death. Christians believe in the Trinity, is that God is three in one, and is eternal; Father (God), Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit (consolatory). The Holy Bible is used by the Christians as a guide, which shows and describes how God created the universe and the life of Jesus.

Believe in God is a decision. I decided believe in God because His love rescued me from a world full of sin. This does not mean that I am not sinful, but when I sin I repent and God's forgiveness pours over me. Peope who do not have God in their hearts commit sin and do not repent. Another way in which I believe in God is because all He has done in my life, His purpose have eternal consequences in you and me. When I feel the presence of God I feel peace and joy. No one can give me what He gives me. God is so good that his mercy is new every mornig, He teached me to love others no matter who are they. Finally, the most I love of God is His eternal love, gratitude, His greatness and wonders.

Iraq and Iran war

War is a state of armed conflict between societies. It is generally characterized by extreme collective aggression, destruction, and usually high mortality. The set of techniques and actions used to conduct war is know as warfare. Therefore, the absence of war is called "peace". A war is characterized by leaving many dead and injured people. One of the more spoken war by people is the war between Iraq and Iran. This war began in September 1980 by the dictator Saddam Hussei. It was characterized by indiscriminate ballistic missile attack, the extensive use of chemical weapons and attacks on oil from third countries in the Persian Gulf. The war ended in July 1988, and had a duration of eight years. Iraq and Iran war killed half a million civilians, soldiers and some were invalid.

Personally I do not like war, I believe that to solve a problem I have not come to a conflict that could charged for other lives and cause physical and mental damage. No one have right to kill others life. Below it can be seen a photo of a soldier child ready to fight. It is sad to know childrens are used as soldiers in war knowing that what they are really killing is the innocence of those childrens, creating mounsters. Wars can be avoided if nations gets to an agreements in every decision they make.

Death

Welcome, this week I will talk you about the death. Death, as we all know, is a natural act that can occur at any time, it is sudden. I think when a person dies is because their purpose on this Earth is complete Thousands of persons around the world dies, naturally or caused by an illnes, a suicide, a homicide, or any accident. I will call to natural death a passive one and the caused death, a tragic death or unexpected one. The natural death occurs when someone dies because is old or simply because is their time to pass away, without any condition or accident.

Cancer is a tragic death it is called a silence diseases. A person with cancer illnes dies slowly, little by little. The cancer is one of the principal cause of death in the world. Cancer is a transformation of a normal cell into a tumor cell, is a multistage process and usually involves the progression of a precanceour lesion to a malignant tumor. There are genetic factors that cause cancer, physical carcinogens such as ultraviolet and ionizing radiation. Another factor is the chemical carcinogen, such as asbestos, components of snuff smoke, aflatoxin (food contaminant) arsenic (contaminant drinking water); and the biological carcinogen such as infections caused by certain viruses, bacterias or parasites. There are many people that dies because of a disease. Some of them do not realize they have cancer because they do not go to medical appointments. In men, the most frequently diagnosed cancers are in lungs, prostate, colon and rectum, stomach or in the liver. Compare to women, cancer is more reflected in their breast, colon and rectum, lung cervix and stomach. To prevent cancer, it is necessary to visit a doctor, ones you have more than forty years and/or if you are felling any pain. Always to ensure there is no risk in have any type of cancer disease.

Happiness

Happiness is the feeling that a person feels when this it is completely satisfied for something good done or for something good that happened around you. There are many ways to find happiness, but I am going to focus on two kinds of happiness; found happiness in friends and God. Happiness in friends is one of the best that we can feel and when known since childhood because they share many things in common that makes them happy . For example, when a friend gets good grades we get happy for his success. A true friend makes you happy at all times, even when are sad. Another way in which a friend can express their happiness to us is when in the most important moments of our lives, for example when we get married they are happily for this event and because they know that we will be happy with th person that we chose.When we know our friend closely, we make them part or family.

God is my principal way to get real happiness. He make me very happy because He is peace, love, majesty, merciful, and He is higher than everything. God show me His love every morning, every minute in the day, even when I want to give up. In His presence, dancing and singing for Him, I can feel His joy and happiness. There is no one that greater, no one more faithful and merciful than Him.
